The Ooort cloud is supposed to be a huge cloud of comets and icy particles at the outskirts of our solar system. There is no actual proof of its existence, but evidences are strong. The objects within the cloud are afflicted by the gravity powers of our sun but they are also attracted by passing powers of the interstellar space. The objects that are set free in this way can be observed as long-period comets.

The workbox "Oort Cloud", a pilot case contains the works of the o-r-t artists in a handy manner. All of these works are connected to the idea of the "Oort cloud". Exhibitions happen when the workbox is unpacked and the artist positions fill a room with photographs, video projections, as sound, painting or objects. The works follow a concept in which the exhibition room is a fundamental part of the art project "The Oort Cloud".
